Restart Part 2 - 25manna

The week before the biggest club relay in the World I met guys from Lithuania and moved to Granby for trainings. It was really fun to meet friends and have nice time with them.
The weeks trainings didn't work as planed, but I hope that everyone felt some improvement in organisation during this week and maybe will bring some more team spirit next year.
Our teams first composition didn't worked out as well. On thursday Mantas, our first leg runner, got terrible knee injury. I hope for the best recovery to Mantas: You got the power, just don't lose faith in comeback. I know, we will run relay together in summer!
So the changes was made and we still had quite strong team. I can't deny that this year I was hoping for more trust in me, but I got fifth leg as usual. That's not bad, not bad at all, but maybe next year I will show more stability and then...
The relay started with Roman and Irina. They brought us to 32nd and 92nd places. Then there were two legs with 4 runners and my turn. But this year organisers weren't prepared for such crowd of runners entering the changeover. And we lost there not taking extra time for checking in. Me and one other guy from 5th leg were late for changeover and because of that we lost track of our maps and also 20 stupid minutes on 5th leg. I had to start without any warm up and with big rush in my head. Therefore the race was a disaster for me: starting with first control I made mistakes to each and every. Some of them were so bad that I would have gone home if it hasn't been relay. I made about 14 extra minutes all in all. After the finish I didn't want to see or hear anything about the race...
On sunday I did two middle courses: one for my friend and another for myself. Both were not so clear as I wanted but much better than saturday. Anyway that was Happy Birthday to myself! 24 years have already pasted by with good and bad moments, but lets make this upcoming year most challenging in my life! (to be continued...)
