Step #5

Overtrained?
This question appeared to me after saturday competition in long distance.
After something like 50min in race I felt so exhausted... I couldn't keep on with the same speed not just because my legs was in pain but also because I couldn't concentrate on map reading. Everything felt strange in my head. Something like dizziness...
But I don't like to support this idea of overtraining. In winter I was training even more. Maybe just not so much in forest, but still...
I am more with another idea. I think that during this week I haven't recovered liquids. If that can be the reason of tiredness.
Saturday evening I tried to rest and recover but... On sunday competition at the end of the course I slowed down and couldn't do nothing about it. If somebody has been in situation when your car is slowing down because of empty tank then you can imagine what was the feeling. You can push accelerator as much as you want, but nothing is happening.
Few days of easy trainings and I will be back!
